'Heart', my Hans Christian 43T is for Sale
by owner Mike Pope
The Hans Christian 43T was conceived by ocean roving sailors for comfort, ease of handling and safety. The HC 43T is in all respects a comfortable, well proven and very sturdy cruising boat with loads of storage space and attractive looks. Despite her full keel and displacement, she's definitely not a slow boat.
'Heart', our canoe-sterned Hans Christian 42H cutter
'Heart' has a large cozy and safe cockpit with fitted cushions. She has two double cabins, two single saloon berths, a head with independent shower stall. Varnished solid teak interior, well equipped galley and a new gimbled propane stove. Bedding, tools, spares etc included in the sale. Underwater surfaces are epoxy coated (no blisters).
Moulded as a single piece laminate of 24 layers, 5.6 tonne encapsulated ballast, cutter rig with a deck stepped single spreader mast. The deck is sandwich cored laminate for insulation and strength. Original teak decking.
We bought 'Heart' in 2013 from from her original owner from Texas. He had sailed the Pacific and the Far East in the 80’s and 90’s.
The clinker tender in on the foredeck is not included in the sale
