'Bijou', our Hylas 46 Sailboat is for Sale
by owners John & Rose Goetsch
'Bijou', a 2004 Hylas 46 center-cockpit cutter, is ready for adventure!
'Bijou' was purchased from her original owner in August 2023 and upgraded for long term cruising. Her original owners lovingly cared for her for almost 20 years and lightly sailed the Pacific US and Mexican Coasts.
'Bijou', a 2004 Hylas 46 center-cockpit cutter
'Bijou' was continuously maintained and periodically upgraded for comfort and performance by her original owners. We, the current owners, have continued the upgrades and lived aboard traveling from San Diego to Panama from January 2024 to May 2024.
We have decided to share the journey with friends and family so have chosen to sell 'Bijou' and to move to a larger boat. As a result, 'Bijou' is now available for viewing in Bocas Del Toro or Shelter Bay Marina, Panama, from where you can continue through the Panama Canal and cross the Pacific or return to the Caribbean.
'Bijou' had her prop-shaft, propellor, shaft seal and cutlass bearing replaced in 2024
