'Petrel Blue', a Westerly Oceanranger 38 for Sale

The Westerly Oceanranger 38 is a highly regarded centre-cockpit cruising yacht. Designed by Ed Dubois as a serious long-distance cruiser, with good performance, as well as excellent accommodation, with master aft cabin, guest fore cabin and sea berth along the companion way to the aft cabin. For a 38ft yacht, these boats are surprisingly spacious.

'Petrel Blue'

Recent improvements to 'Petrel Blue' include a new sprayhood and mainsail cover (November 2023), new batteries (2022/3), a new Coasto dinghy, new saloon upholstery, and a new wind generator which needs to be installed. Ideal for short handed sailing and long distance exploration, this boat is conveniently situated in Grenada in the southern Caribbean.

ACCOMMODATIONS
There are 6-7 berths in 2 cabins plus saloon with ventilation and headroom throughout. Forward, there's a cabin with a V-berth and infill to form a double, with a hanging locker and stowage to starboard and access to the chain locker. There's a head to port with a Jabsco marine toilet and washbasin, and a hanging locker opposite to starboard.

Spacious saloon consisting of a large wrap-a-round dinette to port, central folding leaf table and settee berth opposite, along with lots of easily accessed stowage in shelves and lockers. Galley to starboard comprising of a Plastimo two burner cooker with oven, 12v fridge with small ice box, twin stainless steel sinks with fresh and sea water tap and plenty of stowage.

To port lies the chart table, quarter berth and passageway to aft cabin. Owners aft cabin with offset double berth, seating area, hanging locker, further storage and ensuite heads cabin offering marine toilet and washbasin.
