Like to meet you
by: Jim Isbell

I have a Mainship 34 trawler in Aransas Pass. Next time you are in Rockport give me a call 361-238-0711 for coffee.
I used to own a Bruce Roberts 44 center cockpit Ketch with a grease fitting on the shaft log but my Mainship 34 does not have one and I want to add one.
I got a lot of derision on a trawler list when I mentioned the subject. I liked the dry bilge in the BR 44 because the hull was steel.

Packing on stern tube
by: mauro

I used teflon impregnated packing: less wear, less heat, less dripping.
